The Path of Love was published in September this year by Majid Mahmood. It is his second novel and is available for order as both an e-book and a paperback.
The Path of Love addresses class and financial divides and takes the optimistic view that hard work is capable of breaking down those barriers.
It showcases a realistic view of love – namely, that not everyone has a happily ever after and that love is something that cannot be controlled.
This story is about two individuals who’ve had very different lives and their love lives.
I will say that the novel could benefit from some more editing. The premise is good, the characters aren’t either too flawed or too perfect and the writer even drops some wisdom as well.
But, there are passages that are confusing because the narrator has not been made clear and there’s a bit of tell not show as well.
All in all, I enjoyed it.
