Teachers

Teachers are amazing people, don’t you think?

To be a teacher requires patience, compassion and a ton of love.

Teachers guide and nurture a love of learning in the minds and hearts of their pupils.

Often, the knowledge imparted by our teachers is used by us every day for decades.

I have a huge amount of respect for teachers – so much so that I’ve chosen to join their ranks.

But not every teacher comes armed with a degree and a classroom with a blackboard.

Sometimes we are taught by our loved ones, sometimes even by complete strangers who teach us by giving us their own examples of behavior to follow.

And, of course, there are the times when teachers learn from their own pupils.

I suppose all of that just shows what an essential part of life teaching is – we never stop learning!
