Clear the Path is written by Hosai Mojaddidi and illustrated by Teresa Abboud. It’s being published by Prolance and is available here.
It is a wonderful little learning tool to aid in teaching little children manners.
I love the diversity included in the cover and that one of the little girls is wearing a hijab.
The rhymes are easy to remember and I like the fact that the words are on an accompanying page as well as spoken by the children in the illustrations.
I like that the Islamic reasoning for some of the actions we try to teach is included so simply and clearly.
The best part of this book however is in the inclusion of the Hadiths for parents and educators.
